Tomato & Egg Stir-fry
Soft eggs, juicy tomatoes, and a little sauce to spoon over rice. A comforting place to begin your Chinese cooking journey.
Broccoli florets and peeled shrimp in a light garlic sauce. Blanch the broccoli first to avoid overcooking the shrimp.

Wash florets and slice peeled stems. Boil 2–3 minutes until just tender, then drain thoroughly.
Stir cornstarch, salt and measured water in a small bowl. Pat shrimp dry.
Heat oil over medium-high heat. Add garlic, then shrimp; turn for 3–4 minutes until firm, opaque and pearly.
Add broccoli. Stir the sauce again and pour in; toss 1–2 minutes until the sauce bubbles and lightly coats both ingredients.
Drain broccoli well so the small amount of sauce stays concentrated.
Broccoli: Use sugar snap peas; trim strings and blanch briefly before frying.
Cook shrimp until the flesh is firm, opaque, and pearly. Avoid cross-contact with raw seafood.
